Lindsay Pennington Inc. is a Los Angeles-based interior design studio known for richly layered interiors that balance architectural clarity with warmth, personality, and a sense of history. The firm's work is guided by an intuitive understanding of color, proportion, and composition, creating spaces that feel considered without appearing overly composed.

Founder and principal designer Lindsay Pennington brings an unusual combination of creative instinct and analytical discipline to the practice. She earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from Duke University, studied interior design at the New York School of Interior Design, and holds a certificate in art history from Christie's. Her background in law informs the thoughtful management of complex projects, while her approach to design remains expressive and instinctive. Materials, furnishings, and objects are brought together with an ease that belies the careful consideration behind them.

Unconcerned with passing fashions or a prescribed aesthetic, the studio approaches each project on its own terms, drawing on architecture, art, and the particular sensibilities of its clients. From architectural planning through the final placement of furnishings and objects, the firm oversees residential projects with close attention to craftsmanship and detail, creating interiors that feel both distinctive and deeply personal.

Lindsay Pennington Inc. has been included in Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping, Sunset Magazine, LA Home, California Home + Design, Domaine, Cottages & Bungalows, Sotheby’s, and other publications, and recently was featured on two covers of SUBSTANS.
